FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How is the event structured
The event is a better-ball stableford   tournament, with three separate competitions - Mens pairs, Ladies pairs and Mixed pairs. Teams play a series of knockout rounds in their own area. The draws are computerised taking into account, location, home or away wins and early results. At the end of the knockout rounds, the remaining teams compete in Regional Finals  to determine the overall winners. The qualifying pairs from the Regional Finals win  an expenses-paid Grand Final to Acapulco, Mexico  during December 2008
How are the rounds constructed
There are a minimum of 4 knockout rounds with the FIRST ROUND being HOME and AWAY ( 36 holes) to avoid the Home advantage. Both scores are added together to create a total score. The other rounds are HOME or AWAY (18 Holes). The pair with the most Stableford points go through to the next stage of the tournament.
